We will reopen soon

He didn’t put a date on the sign due to having no knowledge on when they would be coming back. He knew Collin would want to come back home as soon as everything was over, but he wasn’t sure if he would want to reopen right away. As soon as he had the sign in the window of the front door, Collin walked through the bar and up to him.

“Hey…I was just about to do that,” Collin told him with a small smile.

“Figured I would beat you to it,” Kyle tried playfully. “Wasn’t sure which date you would want to reopen so I just put on there we would reopen soon. Hope that’s okay,”

“That’s perfect.” Collin nodded. He could see that his little brother was just going through the motions. Trying to get everything on his mental to-do list checked off.

“Alright then, I guess I should go ahead and get upstairs to pack. We going to leave tonight or tomorrow morning?” he questioned. Kyle knew he would do anything Collin asked at that point.

“I was thinking tomorrow morning. That way we have time to get everything finished here and we can get packed,” Collin told him as he looked around the bar. Kyle wasn’t sure what all needed to be done so instead of saying there wasn’t much he asked.

“What all do we need done here? Tell me what you need me to do, and we can get it all done quickly.”

Collin starting listing items and as he did, Kyle and he divided it all up and started to get to work, making sure the place was set up and ready to be closed for a few days. That way they wouldn’t have to rush to get back and make sure that something wasn’t going to go bad or anything. They unhooked all the taps and made sure they were clean. They made sure all the coolers were doing okay and running so nothing would go bad while they were gone.

“Hey, did you call Sawyer and Jonathon and let them know?” Kyle asked Collin.

“No, crap. I knew there were a few more calls to make.”

“I’ve got it. You head home and pack up. I’ll get the rest of this done and call them.”

Instead of an answer, Kyle just got a nod from his brother before Collin turned around and left the bar. He hoped Collin would be okay to drive at least. So instead of standing there he hurried up and ran after him.

“Hey, you okay enough to get home?” he questioned. Collin turned around and rolling his eyes.

“I’m okay, just got a lot on my mind, ya know. I’ll be fine. Go call the guys. I want to give them the heads up so they can make plans if they’re coming.”

With a nod of his own, Kyle headed back into the bar and made the phone calls quickly letting both know what was going on. The best part was that Sawyer and Jonathon worked together, and he only needed to make one phone call to get the information across to both of them.
